On September 12, First Lady Michelle Obama, actress Eva Longoria, and the Partnership for a Healthier America launched a campaign to encourage Americans to drink more water. A special “Drink Up” logo will be placed on 300 million packs of bottled water and more than 10,000 outdoor public taps. The most impressive part of the campaign is its broad work with the public and private sectors to encourage drinking water over sugary drinks and addressing childhood obesity. Of course there is an environmental concern about the bottled water, and we further encourage the use of reusable water bottles. Still, there is a super engaging website that immediately made us excited about drinking water (really!). You can visit the site at www.YouAreWhatYouDrink.org. –NL/KC
