Launch of NovoPen Echo – The First Pen in the US with Half-Unit Dosing and Memory Function

On January 21, Novo Nordisk announced the launch of the NovoPen Echo in the US. This is the first and only pen device available in the US with half-unit dosing and a memory function that can record the dose and time passed since the last injection. The pen will be used with NovoLog (insulin aspart) prefilled cartridges and should be particularly useful for children who may forget doses or need finer adjustments in insulin.
